Island is in the past

I just had this incredible insight tonight and thought it was worthy of my first post. Unfortunately, someone else on here had the same thought using wormholes but that goes way above my head so I'm going to post the little section I stumbled on.

I know there are lots of holes and unexplained material in this theory but I think this is a big piece of what is going on. The island is in the past and in the future. I know this has been discussed before but not quite like this.

I'm rewatching the first season and I'm at the episode where Jack is frantically trying to save Boone. His flashback is to his wedding where his fiance is saying how he met. Her description of the accident is exactly the same as the accident caused by Jack in the season 3 finale. That got me thinking that what if the flashbacks show us what went wrong and the island is actually traveling backwards in time or at least allows the survivors to leave the island at an earlier point in history. That would explain the Faraday experiment in 4.03 on how the clocks were off.

Think about it. The fact that the accident happened in both episodes exactly the same way and involved Jack to save her life shows it is more than coincidence. It would also explain how Jack's dad could still be alive in TTLG. He's still alive because Jack didn't rat him out to the review board. Jack corrected his mistakes. His dad didn't drink himself to death and Jack never had to go through a marriage he knew would end unhappily. Jack is depressed because everything he had happen to him that he remembers didn't happen such as his marriage and his dad dying. While not all these are good memories they still had a profound effect on him as a person. They weren't supposed to leave because by leaving they altered the course of history. That is also why people are looking for the island because they can use it as a gateway to travel in the past to relive their lives.

I think most inconsistencies can be explained by there being two timelines. The flashbacks and island are one timeline while the flashforwards take place at the same time as the flashbacks but are on the other timeline. The second timeline does not necessarily start before all flashbacks which is why some events would still happen. However, the survivors making different choices at the start of the second timeline could be what changes little things in the future (such as Jack's fiance already having a child or the pictures in the house in 4.02 changing). Once different choice can have a ripple effect that has severe repercussions on the future. Again, what they found out and why Jack says they weren't supposed to leave.

The problems in this theory are if it is in the past then the plane wouldn't have crashed and nobody would know who they are. That is the part I can't wrap my head around. Maybe it is wormholes or maybe the Oceanic 6 are the 6 people who tried to stop the plane from taking off and were brutally beaten by the airline. I don't know. (That would explain how they have settlements from the airline and how the plane could still be found at the bottom of the ocean as there would now be two timelines). However, that wouldn't explain why Ana Lucia's partner would think that Hurley might have met her on the plane. There has to be some kind of time rip that causes these to merge. Maybe the plane left earlier in the second timeline and the survivors came back to a time before the plane left in the first timeline. So the Oceanic 6 are from the first timeline and have wound up in the second timeline. Again, why Jack would say they weren't supposed to leave.

The only three ways for Jack's dad to still be alive are: 1) he's crazy; 2) season 7 is going to be about zombies; or 3) the Oceanic 6 have wound up in the past and are able to rectify past mistakes. Given the reactions of people in the hospital, I think Jack's dad is alive which rules out 1 and 2. This theory makes sense but for the darn Oceanic 6 part.

I know there are a lot of holes and mods, I am new but did not see this posted anywhere. feel free to move or delete. The island is actually moving backwards in time just makes too much sense to me.
