Generelle spoilere for sesong 4
05/09 - Starting with the 2007-08 season, ABC will begin airing the 48 remaining original episodes of the hit drama "Lost," it was announced today by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. The episodes will air uninterrupted over three seasons (16 episodes each season), with the series concluding in 2009-10 with a highly anticipated and shocking finale. Source: ABC
05/04 - ABC is set to announce that Lost will end production after two more seasons. According to sources, ABC is planning to push back Lost's return date to January of next year in order to air new episodes back-to-back, and it is also "extremely likely" that Lost will change time slots next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online
05/02 - Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were on the Preston & Steve Morning Show in Philadelphia. During the show they revealed that the four toed statue is very important but won't be addressed until season 4, Walt or Michael will make an appearance by the end of this season, one two or three people may die. Source: The Tail Section
03/30 - Lost Spoilers offers us a summary of the spoilers Cuse and Lindelof revealed in the latest podcast: Christmas may be celebrated in Season 4. Rose and Bernard have an "awesome" storyline coming up. Source: Lost Podcasts
03/27 - While walking out on the red carpet for the premiere of Meet the Robinsons, [Harold] Perrineau put himself on the record as being currently in negotiations for a return to Lost in season four. Perrineau told a Reuters' reporter that "We're trying to figure out if I can get back next season and do both." That would be an interesting feat considering Lost shoots in Hawaii and Demons will no doubt shoot in Hollywood. Source: BuddyTV
03/19 - [Lost] is for sure coming back [for a fourth season], and get this: my ABC sources tell me it will probably come back 24-style, beginning in January and going straight through with 22 episodes. At least, that's the most likely scenario ABC is considering. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Intervju med Lindelof:
How about a harmless little game of False, True or Hell No, I Won't Tell You?
Let’s do it...
Lost returns in February.
True.
Lost stays on Wednesday nights.
Is there an I Don't Know category?
The finale's twist, the flash forward, is something that you'd planned all along, from the very beginning.
Oh, absolutely.
The show will flash forward and flash back from this point onward.
Hell no, I won't tell you.
You are shooting in Hawaii next season.
Yes. Mostly.
Kate is pregnant.
Hell no, I won't tell you.
The role of Jacob has been cast.
False.
False? Okay, interesting. People were having all sorts of interpretations of what he looked like.
You do see a guy, but...I'm still sticking to my false.
The monster can reanimate the dead.
Hell no, I won't tell you.
The Others are in danger of extinction.
True.
The island's mysteries can be explained strictly by science.
Strictly by science?
Strictly.
Hell no, I won't tell you.
The love triangle will eventually be resolved in an unambiguous manner.
True.
Michael is still out in the ocean somewhere.
Hell no, I won't tell you.
Tom is gay.
I'll leave that open to interpretation.
Ben is a good father.
True. [Laughs] These are just my opinions, by the way.
Alex is actually Ben's biological daughter.
False.
The big set for season four is called the Ruins.
False.
You're a bastard for killing Charlie.
True.

Everyone is on break now, getting some much deserved rest, but that doesn't stop the rumor mill from cranking. Here are some tidbits that came our way over the Memorial Day weekend. Apologies to those of you who kvetched that I wasn't updating enough.
Also within the next day or so I'll be rolling out some design changes targeted at making the ads a little less obtrusive, while keeping the advertisers happy.
* Season Four's flash forward sequences are essentially a season-within-a-season. Don't freak out, its not another mini-pod thing-a-ma-jig. The particulars have not been planned but apparently they are looking at a mix of flash backs and flash words, with a larger number of flash forwards.
* The flash forwards tell a linear story, but will be presented in non-linear format from the vantage point of different characters. (This kills the 'only Kate and Jack' got off the island theory.) The big kicker is the Flash Forwards will be shot, according to the source, in Los Angeles.
* Production will begin in mid-August and complete in March. That means that roughly 11-13 episodes will be completed by the time LOST airs. With spoiler-gate 2007 behind us, what are the odds that LOST will be locking its production down tighter than ever?
* Kristin Veatch reports that Harold Perrineau has been offered his job back as 'series regular.' Rumors were circulating to this effect MONTHS ago, however. It was also reported at that time that the creators had a plan to deal with Walt's aging. Hmm... Flash forwards + Plan to deal with Walt's aging = Perrineau returning as regular in the future portion of next season. I supposed we will also see Walt going all Zen on us, learning to project himself into the past.

"Desmond will have to deal with the aftereffects and the guilt of [Charlie's death]. He will question whether or not Charlie would have made this sacrifice, had he not told him that was what he was going to do? He will question the role he played in Charlie's death."

Brandi in Taos, New Mexico: What's the latest on Lost? Will Michael come back? Please say yes!
I can tell you that producers definitely have made an offer for Harold Perrineau to return in the new season, which they also did last season (Harold declined because he was working on a pilot). Back then, Harold was offered a truckload of money. Now, sources tell me he wants that same truckload. The question is whether he will receive it—hence, the holdup. I, for one, am happy to empty out my piggy bank and couch cushions and contribute to the H.P. Fund, for I miss him so. Who's with me?!

At Today's ABC Press Tour it was revealed that Harold Perrineau is returning to Lost. They also mentioned that a number of big reveals would be held back for Comic-Con.

07/25 - During a show of AlloCiné Séries, Lost producer and director Jack Bender was asked if the format of Season 4 episodes would change to include flashfowards as used in the Season 3 finale. Here is the translation of is answer: No, there are no rules in Lost. Certain episodes will have flashfowards, others will have flashbacks, others will have neither. It will depend on the nature of the story, of what Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will write with the writers. I know what the global approach of the upcoming season but the series will not really change: it will only depend of what the stories will be.

Han var jo gigantisk i The Last King of Scotland.
Skandinavisk/norsk link i LOST ?

Ruby in Antwerp, Belgium: Any scoop on Lost?
Executive producer Carlton Cuse and line producer Jean Higgins appeared at the LATV Festival last week, and E! Online spoke with them exclusively, getting answers to your questions. As for the for the future of the show in general, here's what Carlton had to say: "Some people speculated that [going forward] the show will be set in the future and then flashbacks to the present, but no, we aren't changing any of the format of the show. We are just adding the flash forwards as an element. They have made a radio call to a freighter, and there are people on that freighter, and it might be logical to imagine that that storyline will continue... The situation is going to be very intense this year. Charlie wrote on his hand not Penny's boat, and the message he wrote on his hand was very important. It was really funny because [ the clip at Comic-Con showed] Mr. Friendly saying, 'by the time you see this, I'm gonna be dead, but I am telling you it's a shame because whoever is going to come after the Others is going to be a hell of a lot worse than we ever were.' Damon and I were listening to him and sort of nodding our head going, 'That's pretty prophetic.' "
John in Spokane, Washington: There are rumors of a new Lost set being built along the lines of a temple or ruins. Have you heard anything?
According to Ms. Jean Higgins, "I don't expect any [permanent sets] for season four."
Ana in Denmark: What can we expect for Jin and Sun this season?
According to Carlton: "With Jin and Sun there is a very dynamic situation at work. She's pregnant...the fate of her child, the fate of their marriage, all those questions Damon and I will get to and more this season."
Pyotr in Moscow: Good news that Michael is returning to Lost, but what about Walt?
Again, Carlton Cuse, "Walt will be back also. But we're not going to get into any details about that."
Myrto in Athens: Hello from sunshine-filled Greece. Just one Lost question. Are we going to see Jacob again or learn anything about him in the fourth season?
According to Mr. Cuse himself, "Yes, you will see more of Jacob."
Francesca in Italy: Please, anything about Sawyer in Lost season four!
We asked Carlton if he had a favorite pairing in the triangle, and for what it's worth, he said, "I'm just a Sawyer fan..."

Question: Have you spoken to Darlton about having Kristen Bell on Lost? If you pull this off, I swear (and you have this in writing, with AA witnesses) that I will send you one case of Diet Raspberry Snapple for every episode of Lost that Kristen appears on. Hope you're up for the challenge!— Erin
Ausiello: You better get busy clipping them there Snapple coupons, Erin. And while you're at it, slap on a pair of Depends, 'cause this is the kind of exclusive casting prattle that causes mass piddling: I can tell you for a fact that Kristen's name has been brought up with regard to the new role of Charlotte, the hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Yep, sounds like our Kristen! The only question now is whether my in-demand BFF is ready to jump back into another series. And, if so, will the financial toll wrought by all those Snapple purchases force Erin to declare bankruptcy? Please, God, let the answer be "Yes!" to all of the above!
Source: Ausiello

Total. Bummer.
The greatest casting coup of the century was apparently not meant to be: A spokesperson for Kristen Bell, responding to my report in Wednesday's AA, notified me late last night that my BFF won't be joining Lost next season. Although her rep didn't provide a reason, I did a little digging and my sources say Bell -- who was formally approached by Lost execs this week -- turned down the gig primarily because she didn't want to relocate to Hawaii.
