Generelle spoilere for sesong 4
Siden spoilere/informasjon angående sesong 4 har begynt å komme er det på tide med en tråd som fungerer likt som Registrer sin tråd for sesong 3.

05/09 - Starting with the 2007-08 season, ABC will begin airing the 48 remaining original episodes of the hit drama "Lost," it was announced today by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. The episodes will air uninterrupted over three seasons (16 episodes each season), with the series concluding in 2009-10 with a highly anticipated and shocking finale. Source: ABC

05/04 - ABC is set to announce that Lost will end production after two more seasons. According to sources, ABC is planning to push back Lost's return date to January of next year in order to air new episodes back-to-back, and it is also "extremely likely" that Lost will change time slots next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online

05/02 - Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were on the Preston & Steve Morning Show in Philadelphia. During the show they revealed that the four toed statue is very important but won't be addressed until season 4, Walt or Michael will make an appearance by the end of this season, one two or three people may die. Source: The Tail Section

03/30 - Lost Spoilers offers us a summary of the spoilers Cuse and Lindelof revealed in the latest podcast: Christmas may be celebrated in Season 4. Rose and Bernard have an "awesome" storyline coming up. Source: Lost Podcasts

03/27 - While walking out on the red carpet for the premiere of Meet the Robinsons, [Harold] Perrineau put himself on the record as being currently in negotiations for a return to Lost in season four. Perrineau told a Reuters' reporter that "We're trying to figure out if I can get back next season and do both." That would be an interesting feat considering Lost shoots in Hawaii and Demons will no doubt shoot in Hollywood. Source: BuddyTV

03/19 - [Lost] is for sure coming back [for a fourth season], and get this: my ABC sources tell me it will probably come back 24-style, beginning in January and going straight through with 22 episodes. At least, that's the most likely scenario ABC is considering. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Also appearing in 401 and 402, with possibly more eps down the line, is Arthur Stevens. He is a ruthless corporate recruiter, tall and thin, with a chilling prescence.

Ken LeungKen Leung – whose memorable turn as Uncle Junior's mentally unstable protégé on The Sopranos last season turned many a head in Hollywood (mine included) – is joining the cast of Lost next season, sources confirm to me exclusively.

It's believed Leung will be playing the recurring role of Russell*, a brilliant mathematician who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields. He's expected to first turn up in February's season premiere.

Non-Sopranos fans may know Leung from his role as Kid Omega in Brett Ratner's franchise killer, X-Men: The Last Stand.

* May not be the character's real name.

Source: TV Guide

Her bringer Lost virkelig inn stortromma å leier inn en hovedskuespiller fra den beste nåværende krimserien; The Wire.

Lost has found new blood.

Sources confirm that The Wire's Lance Reddick has been cast in the recurring role of Arthur Stevens, the intimidating corporate-recruiter character I first told you about in last week's Ask Ausiello. Reddick also had a lengthy arc on HBO's Oz, where he starred opposite returning Lostie Harold Perrineau.

This comes on the heels of another key piece of Lost casting: the addition of Sopranos scene-stealer Ken Leung. However, the specifics of his character remain shrouded in mystery. Rumors had him playing a brilliant mathematician named Russell, but now there's buzz that he's coming on in a top-secret role that no one (save for Darlton) knows anything about. Feel free to get some speculation going in the comments section below. Also, what do you think of Reddick's casting? Thumbs up? Thumbs down? Thumbs sideways?

Oh, new Lost news makes me so ridonkulously happy. We're hearing that creepmaster Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan) is doing eight eps of Lost this season, and one Rebecca Mader will have a major recurring role as well...perhaps as the much discussed Charlotte? More as we hear it.

08/28 - Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse tell EW.com that Jeff Fahey - a cult-pop fave most famous for The Lawnmower Man and most recently seen in Grindhouse - has been added to the show. [...] The producers wouldn't comment on the character that Fahey will be playing, but said he was the first and only choice for the role. Source: Entertainment Weekly

Show creators break radio silence, confirm flurry of casting rumors; Jeremy Davies, Jeff Fahey to both be recurring.

Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, the two showrunners for ABC's meta-drama Lost, love messing with people's minds. The pair holds the answers to some of today's greatest television mysteries and, following an Internet leak of details on season three's twist-tastic finale, has promised to keep a low profile with the media until the show's fourth season begins next year.

However, the two did answer a few questions regarding the recent casting rumors and news--Jeremy Davies (Rescue Dawn, Solaris) and Jeff Fahey (Lawnmower Man, Grindhouse)--and talked ever so slightly about the new characters of season four.

Unlike other shows that trumpet their new cast members and characters, the crew behind Lost prefers misleading the millions of fans of the show. Simple things, such as casting announcements, can go a long way in today's Internet news world, so even the actors don't know who the character they're auditioning for is.

"We actually [have] the actors read fake [scenes] and give them fake character names. Because those casting [pages] travel so widely, there's no way to maintain secrecy," Cuse told EW.com. "So we basically have to come up with fake but analogous scenes that will show us qualities of an actor but won't give away what the role is."

Lindelof and Cuse know what those roles are, and they knew that Davies and Fahey would be perfect for those characters.
Jeremy Davies already looking Lost-ish in Rescue Dawn.

"He's a real actor's actor--there's an intelligence you glean from this guy," said Lindelof of Davies, according to EW. "He's usually the smartest guy in the room in any part he plays. That transformative quality, plus the tremendous intelligence that seems to emanate from him, sort of seemed perfect for this particular character."

Lindelof also feels that Fahey fits the Lost mold well as an actor that is somewhat recognizable to casual television fans but holds on to some anonymity. "...[Fahey will] be able to land on our island without most people going, 'Oh, I know who that guy is.' And especially for the part we cast him for, he has exactly the right sensibilities."

Another newcomer to the show, Ken Leung, caught the eyes of the pair after seeing him once on The Sopranos. That one episode was enough to not only have them pursue him for Lost, but also write a new character specifically for Leung.

"[Leung's character] is so specifically geared to what we thought he could do as an actor [that] if he had said no, we would have had to scrap the character and rewrite him and come up with a different one," said Cuse.

British actress Rebecca Mader joins the drama after several stints on television, the most high profile of which was a starring role on Fox's 2006 law drama Justice. She read for her part with an American accent, but the producers eventually had her read in her native tongue, and it stuck--the character is now British.

Finally, The Wire's Lance Reddick was always a target of Lindelof and Cuse (he was originally considered for the part of Mr. Eko), but scheduling conflicts held him up until now. When news of Reddick joining the cast broke, his character was described as a "corporate recruiter," but don't expect any normal human resources worker doing some simple company headhunting.

"Around here at the Lost offices, 'corporate recruiter' means something entirely different than corporate recruiter," said Lindelof.

Isn't that always the case with Lost?

09/12 - According to documents on the online database used by the production company the character Jeff Fahey is playing is named Frank Lapidus. May be a fake name, but it is used consistently in the casting call sheets, shooting schedule, etc. Jeremy Davies to play character called Daniel Faraday. Source: Lost Spoilers

09/20 - Lost resurrects Libby! OK, so technically, the ABC hit isn't bringing Cynthia Watros' short-lived character back from the dead. But Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms to me exclusively that the actress will be playing Hurley's dearly departed sweetheart again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more of Desmond's flashbacks.

"She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. "We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell."

The mysterious Minkowski, whose voice was heard on the other side of the satellite phone found by the "Lost" gang, now has a face as Fisher Stevens has been tapped to play the role on the ABC/ABC Studios series.

Stevens will recur as Minkow¬ski on "Lost." The character, which was referenced several times toward the end of last season, was only heard talking to Jack (Matthew Fox) on the phone and told the survivors in the third-season finale in May that they will be rescued.

In the "Lost" fan blogosphere, the name of the character has been tied to German mathematician Hermann Minkowski, whose Minkowski space -- a four-dimensional system including the three dimensions of space plus the dimension of time -- was used in Einstein's theory of special relativity.

Stevens, who recently co-directed the critically praised documentary, "Crazy Love," is repped by Fortitude and the Collective

Question: I've been in London for four weeks and have dropped your name multiple times to Brits obsessed with Lost. Surely, recruiting overseas Ausholes earns the name of the person on the freighter! — Elizabeth

Ausiello: Actually, it earns you something even better: some exclusive casting prattle! I have it on good authority that Nestor Carbonell has inked a deal to reprise his role as ageless island dweller Richard in at least one of this season's final five episodes. In confirming the news, exec producer Carlton Cuse (i.e., the good authority I spoke of earlier) described the former Cane thesp as "a tremendous actor" whose "return will lead to some very interesting revelations."

Question: I need to know who is on that boat on Lost! — Kelly

Ausiello: Well, Kelly, there’s Sayid and Desmonds (1996 and 2004 editions) and the corpse of Fisher Stevens and some guy named Keamey… and I know that’s not who you mean, but the identity of Ben’s boat buddy is one scoop that Team Darlton is not letting slip, at least not until tomorrow night. In the meantime, try this Lost head-scratcher on for size: I have it on good authority that an upcoming, post-strike episode features both a pair of Arabic-speaking, horseback-riding Bedouins and a luxury doorman of British extraction. Without knowing whether it’s a flashback or flash-forward, whose episode could that be? I had an extra bowl of crazy this morning, so I’m going with a consciousness-imploding guess: Charles Widmore, who is: A) a shadowy figure who has been coming into focus in recent weeks, B) a rich British dude and C) perhaps interested in those polar bear skeletons Charlotte found in the deserts of Tunisia, no? Any more sane guesses?

Question: Any Lost news? — Franci
Ausiello: You know that series-regular death I alluded to a few weeks back? Well, tomorrow night's the night! But riddle me this, Lost fans: When is a death not a death, but a brand-new mystery all its own? Meanwhile, I was going to close this week's column by revealing the identity of the remaining members of Lost's super-cool clique, the Oceanic Six, but most of you seem to have it already figured out: *o* *a* *** **e **l* **** *i***.

Hvis Ben har en sentrert episode i S4 er det desidert den episoden Richard kommer tilbake, evt. i sesongfinalen.

03/17 - An upcoming, post-strike episode will feature the same male character at different ages, described as "sweet, shy, tentative and smart" at 5 and "angry, a little nerdy, defiant and rebellious" at 16. Also, said male character has green eyes, a fact you might not find significant, unless you were this guy. The same episode also features a redheaded teenaged girl who is "emotional, prone to dramatic gestures, and passionately in love." Who are we talking about here? The easy answer is: Duh, it's Ben and Annie, his childhood pal. But! Conflicting intel says these characters appear in a Locke-centric episode, which is confusing. Source: The Ausiello Report

03/17 - Cuse and Lindelof reveal: Ben was telling a truth and a lie [about Widmore]. He is behind the freighter, but he is not there for the reason that Ben says he is. We'll know by the end of season four. Source: DocArzt's Lost Blog

03/17 - The current print edition of TV Guide (March 10-16) drops some spoilers regarding what's to come in Lost's late season: we'll learn why Sayid is Ben's paid assassin, why Jack has descended into a tormented diet of pills and booze, this season ends with the O6 getting off the Island, the Jack-Kate situation remains unresolved and probably will be for a while, we haven't seen the last of Kate-Sawyer this season -- not by a long shot, it's about how many years elapsed between what we're watching on the Island and the FF's, there are some growth issues when you go on or off the island. *Don't worry about the "death" in Meet Kevin Johnson -- it takes place in the flashback, not the real-time events.

*Expect another appearance from Charlie later this season. Apparently, Hurley and a couple of other characters will be wandering through the jungle, and Charlie will unexpectedly appear to demand a favor from Hurley. Nobody else in the group is aware of Charlie's presence -- except for Ben, although he doesn't advertise the fact.

*Harper and Alpert both make appearances later in the season.

*Jack has no flashes this season.

*Episode 9 is, in fact, titled "Bakir". Episode 10, however, is called "Tempus Fugit".

*Episode 10 features a long-awaited slip-up in one of Rousseau's tales of how she came to the
Island -- a slip-up that our castaways take note of.

*The cave skeletons from Season 1 are mentioned this season, but nothing is resolved.

*We find out exactly who the real Henry Gale was and why he ended up on the Island. No word on whether or not Ben was responsible for his death.

*This is the most shocking spoiler by far: the man in the coffin is Locke. Somehow, against his will, Locke is made to leave the Island along with the Oceanic 6 (he is not included amongst their number). Upon his return to the real world, John loses his ability to walk, as he feared, and resumes his tragic life of solitude and depression. Rumor has it that after a desperate attempt to return to the Island that results in a death, Locke realizes that he never be able to get back. Broken and alone, he commits suicide by hurling himself from an eighth-story window (in an ironic parallel to the event that paralyzed him in the first place). His coffin is prepared for a viewing, but only Jack arrives, out of guilt for realizing that Locke was right about the freighter and about the Island (in Jack's point of view, at least).

3/30 - Upcoming episodes will reveal how [Michael] made it home. "You will be getting the detailed version of what exactly happened to Michael in between Ben sending him and Walt off the island and when we first meet him behind the wheel of that car" in the March 20 episode, Lindelof promises. Adss exec producer Carlton Cuse: "Michael becomes really pivotal to the end of the season. His return will have a lot of impact on the other characters." Presumably, that includes Sayid, who exposed Michael as an Oceanic 815 survivor.

Viewers also will learn how the Oceanic 6 escaped the island and what hapenned to those who didn't. "The debate about whether Jack or Locke was right is really gonna amplify," Cuse teases. Amonth the other goodies in store: the identity of the person in that coffin, details on the freighter fold and the answer to who attacked -- and seemingly killed -- Rousseau and Karl. Promo Picture from 4.12

Well Kristin reported a week ago that Kate was scheduled to get another centric episode this season and our source has confirmed that she does indeed get that episode!! It will be episode 4x12 (part 1 of the two part finale).

However, the shocker is that Kate is exposed to high amounts of radiation and electromagnetism and begins flashing like Desmond. Not able to control her flashes Kate snaps by killing Jack in a Flashforward and Sawyer in real time on-island. With out any constant the touching moment at the end has Kate dying because of the sickness "side-effects".

Our source confirmed the writers have taken this route because they are fed up with the LOST Triangle....!!

Can you believe it!?
